Join Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) on July 27 and 28 for a premiere educational native grass landscaping event!
HOAs, businesses, campuses, municipal agencies, and homeowners are seeking more sustainable, water-conserving, and low-maintenance landscape options. Native grasses are one of the best solutions for low-use, sunny areas.
You will learn ways to be successful with the installation and maintenance of native grasses in irrigated landscape settings in Colorado. CSU expert speakers will share the experiences, best practices, and lessons they’ve learned. You’ll also have the opportunity to see established and in-progress projects to gain inspiration and practical knowledge.
Thursday, July 27 - Residential project focus, 9 am to 4 pm
Friday, July 28 - Business, park, and campus focus, 9 am to 4 pm
Half of each day will be educational presentations by Colorado experts, the other half will be outdoor project site visits in Colorado Springs.
This event is in-person and free to attend.
Presentations will be held at the Colorado Springs Utilities Conservation and Environmental Center, 2855 Mesa Rd, Colorado Springs, CO, 80904.
Project site visits will be within a 20 minute drive of the Center.
Provide your own transportation to the project sites.
