Prairie Restoration Research and Demonstration Tour at DBG Chatfield Farms

Join the Native Grass Working Group for a tour at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms. 

Participants will explore a multi-year prairie restoration project and research trials evaluating seed sourcing, planting methods, species composition, and site preparation techniques to improve native habitat restoration. The project aims to develop cost-effective, resilient, and low-maintenance native plant communities that enhance biodiversity and can be applied in a variety of urban and landscape settings, including parks, trails, roadway medians, and turfgrass conversion projects.
